Karina lives in New York city, living what should be her dream life as a fashion designer, fitting the "mold" agencies set. But she is facing yet another rejection and begins to lose hope. While standing on the top of her apartment, she calls her father who gives her new found courage, prompting her to try designing something new for herself. 

          She combines her love of the stars and the many memories they hold for Karina and her family into a beautiful dress that rekindles her love for being a fashion designer. Karina learns that she doesn't need to fit the mold others set for her, instead she can be her own unique self.
